Our previous business travel provider was one that adequately dealt with the basic needs. Their service was great if you wanted to get from A to B by train in the UK, or to book a specific hotel. However, when we added in a more complex itinerary, such as travelling to India with multiple destinations they were not able to offer this under our agreement. For us, cost is also a contributing factor. Yet, we also have to consider stopover times and delays when we evaluate our expenses; staff members sitting in an airport lounge for 16 hours would not be the best use of their time!
Good Travel Management have provided us with both an online and offline solution. Unfortunately, at the beginning, due to the restrictions on our previous agreement, we were a little apprehensive about working with another travel provider. This meant that starting to work offline took some time. However, our online service of rail, hotel and air worked well, so we were able to carry out any research we needed for our trips.
After working with Good Travel Management, it became clear that their business travel consultants were fantastic. They proved that they are trustworthy and have a complete understanding of how we want our bookings to be handled. They are able to offer more effective solutions, which are cost-effective, offering value for money and saving time in the process.
As Good Travel Management started to understand our business, our dedicated account manager recommended we change to the GT Online booking solution, purely so we could cater for rail and hotel bookings. This change was implemented, with full training given to the bookers, and we haven’t looked back since.
