Having recently joining our team to gain valuable work experience and immerse himself in the daily operations of Good Travel Management and impressing us all with his dedication and passion for the travel industry, Liam has since accepted a role here as Trainee Business Travel Consultant and has been recognised with an award.
Liam was awarded with a certificate from the Springboard Program which is an initiative part-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund (ESF), supported by the National lottery Community Fund, and lead by their partner Hull City Council. The program provides support to develop young people, aged 16 to 29 to gain the skills and qualifications required to help progress to employment or further education.
The award was created to recognise individuals who have progressed excellently on the programme and have developed not only their employability skills, but also their confidence.
Liam commented on his achievement, stating, “The award made me feel very happy and very proud of the achievements I have made.”
The presentation evening, hosted at Cottingham learning centre on Tuesday 27th June gave people supporting and, on the programme, to opportunity to celebrate their achievements together.
