Jon Pearcy, Senior Business Travel Consultant for Good Travel Management and based in the West Midlands, spent the afternoon at Birmingham Airport seeing the facilities the airport has to offer along with a tour of the Turkish Airlines A321 aircraft.
The afternoon began with a visit to the Turkish Airlines check-in desk to see where the journey begins for our corporate travellers. Jon was then taken through Birmingham Airports fast track security procedure bypassing the standard queue in a priority lane straight to the front.
Once security was completed, he then headed to the No1 lounge where Turkish Airlines had reserved the library area to do a presentation on their products and services which included delicious complimentary nibbles and drinks.
Following this, it was time to head down to the gate to await the arrival of flight TK 1969 from Istanbul. On-board Jon had the opportunity to try out the seats in business class, take a look around the economy class and even sit in the cockpit! Before disembarking to let the aircraft turn back to Istanbul.
Upon leaving the airport, Jon was taken through fast track immigration to demonstrate how passing through the passport control can be a quicker and smoother process.
Jon had a great afternoon seeing what Birmingham Airport and Turkish Airlines both had to offer corporate clients.
